The JLG Pro-Fit Series Scissor Lifts are used where more workspace is required. Scissor lifts are designed for lifting capacity and provide larger platform work areas to allow for heavier loads than boom lifts. They may be maneuvered in a manner similar to boom lifts, but the platform may be raised only vertically, except for an available option that extends the deck horizontally up to 6 ft. (1.83 m).
